Head PhotoAll schools should be about adventures in learning, our school and our adventure is concerned with the development of authentic individuals who have a sense of purpose and of themselves. Individuals who are competent, confident and content to take their place in the world and effect changes.

Hampshire Collegiate School is a warm and welcoming independent day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 2 - 18. Set in 130 acres of private parkland on the edge of the New Forest, students feel inspired to learn in our beautiful grounds which include woodlands, playing fields, tennis courts, all-weather sports pitches, a swimming pool and a 9-hole golf course.

Our Prep School provides a rich and varied education. Pupils study a wide range of subjects; many are taught by specialist teachers. English, Mathematics, Science, ICT and Humanities are at the core of the curriculum but a wide and diverse range of subjects such as Art, Design Technology, Drama, Learning Outside the Classroom, Modern Foreign Languages, Music and Sport give that broad and balanced curriculum. At the Senior School, all subjects are taught by specialist teachers and pupils are given the opportunity to achieve in a variety of disciplines and to acquire skills and knowledge which will provide the basis for GCSEs and then A Levels.

All Sixth Form students follow a broad enrichment programme to help develop an understanding of careers and prepare them for further education and the future world of employment. The school runs a mini-MBA experience in conjunction with local business leaders. All our Sixth Form students who leave us secure a place at their chosen universities.

We offer a diverse co-curricular programme. This includes study and debating groups as well as opportunities to enjoy performing arts. Sporting opportunities include rugby, hockey, cricket, tennis, archery and falconry, and there are clubs such as cookery, gardening and beekeeping. The school owns four 25-foot yachts which are moored in Lymington and we offer a comprehensive package of sailing experiences and race event opportunities.

Our boarding house offers full, weekly and flexi boarding for students and our Heads of Boarding reside in the house. Our aim is to provide a supportive, safe and fun environment which boarders can truly call their second home. For day pupils, we operate a network of 13 private home-school transport routes that runs across the New Forest, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
