Wilsic Students Hit The Trail!

Wilsic students have been bucking the national trend for young people leading sedentary lives and not getting enough exercise by striding out at North Park Lane Outdoor Fitness Trail. The trail is approximately one mile in length and includes several exercise stations where the students have been able to put their strength to the test in lifting their own bodyweight in a variety of different and intriguing ways.

A large group of students are making weekly visits to the trail as part of their drive to develop and maintain a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. The trail is set in the grounds of Owston Hall which provide a very pleasant backdrop in which to exercise. The exercise machines are quite novel in their design and have proved stimulating for students to use with plenty of staff having a bash as well.

The trail has made an exciting new addition to our ever evolving Outdoor Education programme and has provided a good deal of Joie de vivre all round!
