Culford Climb into the Top Ten Spot in Sporting League Table
Culford recently climbed from 69th place to 7th in a league table ranking Independent Sports Schools. This fantastic achievement shows just how much Sport is becoming an acclaimed area of the School.
As it reads in the School Sport Magazine, the ‘list reflects competitive achievement in a range of sports throughout 2016 and honours those schools that take competition especially seriously’. A Top Ten position reflects all the hard work that our pupils have put in when playing their sports; whether that be team or individual, as Sporting Scholars or recreational.
A few of Culford’s most recent sporting achievements have included badminton player Harry Wakefield (L3) being nominated for the Young Sports Person of the Year at the West Norfolk Sports Awards, Tennis Scholar Kylie Bilchev (F4) reaching 9th in Europe for her age group and our U19 Netball team reaching the Regional Finals, taking place later in January.
At Culford, we pride ourselves on our Sporting accolades and are really proud of all the hard work the Scholars and Sports Teams put in; their hard work is reflected in this achievement.
