Not One, But Two Finalist Places In The ISA Awards 2023!

We are so proud of our children and staff team, recognised as one of three finalists in the UK for the Independent Schools Association Awards 2023. Nominated for both Junior School of the Year and also Award for Outstanding Sport in a small independent school is great recognition for the achievements of pupils and staff.

OVS is a small school but with a big heart and always goes the extra mile for the children in our care. Each child is treated as a member of our extended family, and we are proud to be the only family run independent prep school in Derby and the surrounding areas. With 120 pupils each child is heard and recognised for their achievements and needs – and we recognise many routes to success be it academic, sporting, the arts or through character and kindness, which is at the heart of all we do.
