Chafyn Grove are Kings at Bruton

Playing in the recent U12 King's Bruton hockey tournament, Chafyn were crowned the champions. The boys had a fairly straightforward route to the semi-finals winning their 5 group games before things got interesting! Playing Millfield in the semi-final the score was 1-1 at the end of full time which led to a penalty shoot out. Chafyn led 3-2 in the shoot out having scored all of their penalties before Millfield took their third and final penalty. Their shot was saved brilliantly by Oli in goal and put the Chafyn boys through to the final. The final was a keenly contested affair. Chafyn took the lead, Hazlegrove equalised and then Chafyn added one more to secure victory and the Trophy. Well played boys!
