Hazelwood School: A Right Royal Celebration!

Published Wednesday 11th of May 2011 02:59:46 PM

Hazelwood School in Oxted, Surrey celebrated the recent Royal Wedding in style with a tea party on the Head's Terrace. Bathed in wonderful sunshine, the School's Kates and Williams enjoyed scones and jam, strawberries and cucumber sandwiches toasting the Royal couple with apple juice served, with pinkies held high, in tea cups. Maxine Shaw, the School's Head (and Queen for the afternoon) donned her wide-brimmed hat for the special occasion and dusted down her own wedding veil for one of the Year 6 children to play the part of Kate Middleton. All the esteemed guests signed a card which will be sent to Buckingham Palace with a photograph of the regal gathering.
