IB Success 2018

Bedford School is delighted to announce that 100% of their IB cohort of 36 boys passed the diploma, with 58% of boys achieving either a 7 or a 6 (the equivalent of an A* or A) in their Higher Level subjects. 86% of boys achieved a 7, 6 or 5 in both their Higher Level and Standard Level subjects, with an average total points score of 34.6, exceeding the worldwide average of 29 points. Four students, namely Sachin Chambers, Jason George, Jaynil Patel and Ivan Golosov, achieved 40 or more points (out of 45), placing them in the top 10% of IB students worldwide. Head Master, James Hodgson, commented, “I am delighted that these results recognise the hard work of all the boys; we are proud of their achievements and wish all of them the very best of luck for the future; they can be sure that the foundation they have received through school and through the IB curriculum will serve them well for the rest of their lives”.
