Power of Partnerships

Published by Abbot's Hill School on Tuesday 6th of December 2022

Partnerships are an integral part of Abbot’s Hills’ role in the community and we are proud of the ongoing and new links we are forging with local state and independent schools.

This week is the Independent Schools Council Partnerships Week so we would like to highlight some of the fantastic projects we have undertaken;

- Last year we welcomed over 120 pupils from local state schools to our site for ‘Come and Create’; a day of carousel activities from dance and singing to art and food tech.
- Our science department continues to deliver bespoke enrichment workshops for small groups from three local primary school.
- Earlier this term we held our first ‘Teaching and Learning Conference’ which was attended by teaching staff at local state and independent schools.
- We continue to support the residents of Water Mill Care Home through various schemes including live music performances.
