GCSE and A level Art, Photography and Textile students recently visited the Saatchi Gallery in London.

GCSE and A level Art, Photography and Textile students recently visited the Saatchi Gallery in London to attend the 'Beyond the Streets' exhibition focusing the musical, visual and fashion movement of New York in the 1980s and 90s. The students enjoyed the colourful and entertaining displays which many felt a connection with their current interests. Mr Spurrett was particularly giddy at reliving his youth! The exhibition proved to be an excellent catalyst to not only inspire ideas for their respective projects, but also understanding how far limits can be pushed with presenting art, photography and textiles in memorable and unique ways.
