For the students at Holme Grange not involved with COP28 they will be following a special timetable that day focused on Sustainability and the Environment. Even the younger pupils in their Nursery, Little Grange will be planting trees and learning why trees are so important.

Holme Grange is well placed to host Cop 28 as it was recently awarded the winner of the ISA 2023 National Award for Excellence in Sustainability. The school is the only UK member of The Alliance For Sustainable Schools Global and it has the EduCCate Global Gold Award for being a Centre of Excellence for Sustainability and Climate Literacy. Headteacher, Claire Robinson said, "I'm lucky to work with such a dedicated staff who care passionately about sustainability and the future of the plant. As educators we need to facilitate opportunities for our pupils to explore key issues that as global citizens they will be involved with."
