Success at International computer competition

Published on isbi School News dated Thursday 30th of May 2013

Wisdom School continues to establish its international reputation by representing the United Kingdom at 'InfoMatrix,' an international computer project competition. Last week the '10th International InfoMatrix took place in Romania where over 300 teams from 41 countries took part. Wisdom School's Year 9 students, Berk Kandil and Suheyb Abdulkadir, successfully represented the UK and received a bronze medal for their project 'ecological e-learning.' The purpose of the project is to introduce gaming into education and create an enjoyable environment for students and teachers to teach and learn in. Usually when people think about education and school they aren't very interested. But introducing games into learning will ensure that students remember what they are taught, enjoy it and even look forward to school.
The project was one of the main attractions at InfoMatrix, with lots of visitors, which helped Berk and Suheyb gain 3rd in the world! Well done!
